Headwaters Trails and Local Tastes

By bike or on foot, the trails of Headwaters offer endless inspiration and breath-taking views for both novices and seasoned outdoor enthusiasts. Located just north of Orangeville on the picturesque Bruce Trail, is Mono Cliffs Provincial Park. The park features beautiful boardwalk trail, as well as a cliff-top trail that set along 30-meter cliffs. Also in the is Boyne Valley Provincial Park,  a stunning hike through hardwood forest, open meadows, bottomland and swamp. Slightly off the beaten path, its trails will lead you to the panoramic views of Murphy’s Pinnacle, one of the highest points on the Primrose Moraine, and a remaining feature of the last period of glaciation.

In Orangeville visitors can explore Island Lake Conservation Area and discover the captivating scenery of this 182-hectare reservoir. With five multi-use trails to explore, Island Lake’s natural landscape and diverse wildlife is filled with fall colours to enjoy.
