When the weather outside takes a turn for the cold and snowy, why not bring your outdoor adventures indoors!
Take a challenging bike ride inside at Joyride 150, a 102,000-square foot indoor biking facility for riders of all ages and all skill levels. You can bring your own bikes and helmet, or better yet, leave the bike rack behind, as rentals are available on site. Rather take to the walls? Climb your way to the top at The Hub Climbing Centre, Ontario’s largest climbing gym and the largest bouldering gym in Canada. Pretend it is still Summer and take a plunge, at Richmond Hill’s indoor Wave Pool, down their new 100ft waterslide. Warm up on the on-deck sauna or lounge on the water mats – either way, you’ll temporarily forget it’s cold outside!
Squeeze in a pit-stop to refuel at GTA’s only Dave and Busters, the ultimate combination of food and fun, before calling it a day. But if you’re still not tired, try bouncing the night away at Vaughan’s Sky Zone Trampoline Park. After dark, the place is a-glow as lasers, music and backlights transform the facility into a jumping dance club. Don’t be fooled, its more tiring than it looks.
Be forewarned, with so many fun and exciting indoor attractions, your family might want to stay and play longer than just for the day. If that’s the case, we’ve got you covered – Hilton Toronto/Markham Suites Conference Centre and Spa or SpringHill Suites by Marriott Toronto/Vaughan are just two nearby properties that can help turn this adventure into an overnight stay.
