Cardinal Golf Club is Canada’s largest golf facility. It has something for everyone, with four 18-hole courses that cater to a variety of skill levels. Kettle Creek is an 18-hole executive course consisting of par 3’s and par 4’s. It is perfect for families, those who are new to the game of golf, and golfers who want to practice their short game. The East Wing course and West Wing course are intermediate courses. RedCrest is Cardinal Golf Club’s newest premium 18-hole championship course. Cardinal Golf Club is easily accessible from all parts of the GTA. Located in King, it is just two minutes east of the 400 Highway and only ten minutes west of Newmarket. I was impressed with the up-to-date technology at the course. They have electronic scoring and GPS on the golf carts, plus the ability to email the final scorecard to all of the players.

It has been called a “hidden gem,” but I have been golfing this course for years! The Shelburne Golf and Country Club is a picturesque 18-hole golf course located on the western edge of the Niagara Escarpment, just north of Orangeville. The professionally designed course plays over easily walked terrain with silica sand bunkers and six spring-fed ponds, providing a challenge to all levels of golfers. It offers five par 5 holes that will definitely test your driver! If your game needs a little work, the Shelburne Golf & Country Club has one of the finest practice facilities in Southern Ontario.
