Enjoy an Ontario Fall Along The Pumpkin Pie Trail

Fall is around the corner! It’s that time of year again to celebrate everything Pumpkin. It’s easy to do, just follow the 2016 York Region Pumpkin Pie Trail on the weekends of September 24th – 25th and October 1st – 2nd. Enjoy the beauty and taste of an Ontario fall with local food and shopping.

Fall Pumpkins

This year, there are 24 farms and markets participating in the Pumpkin Pie Trail, all showcasing the versatility of the pumpkin. The venues offer pumpkin-themed activities for kids, cooking workshops, wagon rides, delicious treats, and of course, the best part: choosing your own pumpkin direct from the patch! Local foods, fruits, and vegetables can be purchased at stops along the trail, as well as shopping for Fall decor such as gourds, dried corn stalks, and straw bales. Don’t forget to pick up your baked goods, including scrumptious pumpkin pies!
