Featuring a Permanent Collection of over 4000 works, outdoor public sculpture, and four galleries of diverse and changing exhibitions, the RMG holds a significant collection of Modern and Contemporary Canadian art, and the largest collection of works by Painters Eleven. Canadian Automotive Museum is a must see for the car enthusiast! Automobile historians and car aficionados will enjoy the Canadian Automotive Museum located in the heart of Oshawa. Canada’s only museum dedicated to the automobile has over 65 cars in a variety of makes and models shine in this authentic 1920s car dealership now turned museum!
The Ontario Regiment RCAC Regimental Museum displays Canada’s largest collection of operational military vehicles, and illustrates the military heritage of Oshawa and surrounding Durham Region dating back to 1866.

Oshawa’s largest sports and entertainment facility, the General Motors Centre has been recognized as Major Facility of the Year in 2014 during Canadian Music Week, ranked #1 in Canada by Venues Today and 79th in the world by Pollstar Magazine. Viva Pan Am Oshawa!
The TORONTO 2015 Pan American and Parapan American Games will be the largest multi-sport event ever held in Canada. Athletes will engage in 36 sports across 30-plus venues in 16 municipalities, including the City of Oshawa as the host municipality for boxing and weightlifting events at the Oshawa Sports Centre (General Motors Centre). During 13 days of competition, Oshawa will host thousands of spectators and 245 athletes.
