The locals know that the place to go for family friendly winter fun is the Hy-Hope Farm in Ashburn! Bring the kids and tackle a variety of hills suitable for little ones. Just bring your toboggan and a helmet and you’ll be ready to slide. After a day of play, make your way inside the cozy farm shop where the aroma of fresh baked pies, breads and treats will warm your soul. Sip a hot chocolate or cider by the wood stove as you savour a butter tart made with Nan’s secret recipe.
After a day on the trails, head back to town to explore locally Made in Uxbridge shops, boutiques and artisans. Sample crisp craft beer at The Second Wedge Brewing Co. or pamper yourself at Savon Du Bois Body Boutique and Tea Bar & Coffee Roastery.
