There are so many events going on in the month of December that we can’t mention them all, but here are a few to get you excited! Event: A Christmas Carol

The seventh annual Dickens’ A Christmas Carol is being put on by the Humber River Shakespeare Co. This classic rendition involves masks, puppetry, and even treasure! Bring the whole family out for a night of fun and get cultured this holiday season with some live entertainment.
Event: Photos with the Grinch at the Alton Mills Art Centre
Date: December 6th, 7th, 13th, 14th
Location: Alton Mill Arts Centre 1402 Queen St. W., Alton Ontario
See if your kids can turn the Grinch’s frown upside down when they snap a photo with him! These pictures will definitely be a frontrunner for the Christmas card this season and something cool for your kids to look at when they’re older.
Event: Canadian Automotive Museum Holiday Open House
Date: December 5th and 6th

With the theme of Winter Wonderland, this open house is a great way to ring in the season. Guests can even make their own snowflake to hang from the ceiling. Then you can tell all your friends that your artwork is displayed in a museum!

Are you brave enough to get on stage and perform in front of a crowd? After you try it once, we’re sure you’ll be back again because the feeling is like no other. After the open mic session, enjoy some unique poetry and experience a different and wonderful side of art.
