The Lynde Shores Waterfront Trail is another great option for taking in some natural waterfront scenery. Although this trail is quite lengthy, being 11.4 km long, the views alone are worth it! If you’re out with the family, don’t forget to pack a picnic to help you conquer this ride.
If you want a little bit of everything try the Nokiidaa trail situated in Aurora. Nokiidaa connects Aurora, Newmarket and East Gwillimbury, letting you pick up friends along the way to enjoy the ride. Taking this 20 km trek following the East Holland River will expose you to everything nature has to offer, green spaces, past wetlands and parks are just some of the features you will see as you explore the terrain. The Long Sault Conservation Area is another lengthy trail for bike riders who feel like a challenge! Long Sault stretches 18 km over Oak Ridges Moraine, incorporating a diverse landscape. Bring your camera along to capture wildlife, as this bike ride winds through wetlands and meadows.
