With the warm weather fast approaching it’s hard not to take your bike out for a ride when the sun is shining. The only question is, where are the most beautiful bike trails in York Durham Headwaters to get your wheels spinning this season? For those of you who like the water, Ajax Waterfront Trail offers a scenic route along Lake Ontario. This urban, asphalt trail runs 6 km long, the perfect distance for an afternoon ride! Without a doubt, this is one of the most beautiful bike trails in Central Counties.

The Lynde Shores Waterfront Trail is another great option for taking in some natural waterfront scenery. Although this trail is quite lengthy, being 11.4 km long, the views alone are worth it! If you’re out with the family, don’t forget to pack a picnic to help you conquer this ride.

If you want a little bit of everything try the Nokiidaa trail situated in Aurora. Taking this 20 km trek following the East Holland River will expose you to everything nature has to offer, green spaces, past wetlands and parks are just some of the features you will see as you explore the terrain. Bring your camera along to capture wildlife, as this bike ride winds through wetlands and meadows.
