Beaver River Wetland Trail
The Beaver River Wetland Trail is 17 km abandoned ‘rail trail’ that has been transformed into a scenic trail stretching from the towns of Blackwater to Cannington. The trail is protected by the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority and features hard-packed gravel suitable for most types of cyclists. This wetland marsh is a birder’s and field naturalist’s haven.
Make time to explore the rural Townships of Brock and Scugog for lunch, unique shops and many B & B’s.
