Easter at the Farm

In Central Counties we believe Easter shouldn’t just be about chocolate. It’s a great time of year to explore our region’s agricultural landscapes and get the kids excited about being outdoors. Easter at the farm means meeting the animals, going on tractor wagon rides, meeting the Easter Bunny and generally having fun.

Remember, farms can be muddy – dress for the weather and put on some boots!

Here are some events taking place this Easter Weekend:

Downey’s Farm Market is a family friendly farm throughout the season, and their annual Easter Fest is a great way to get things started. It’s all about egg hunts, egg decorating and fun on the farm meeting the animals. Entertainment includes Abracadabra Magic with Steve Baker, a Puppet Show, an Easter Egg Scramble, Face Painting, Egg Decorating and Farm Animals.
