What they offer
There is hiking, biking, camping and swimming. They have a back country river- less mainstream haha. There are fire-pits, picnic areas and a river for swimming and fishing. There are cabins to rent and camp sites for pitching a tent. So many wonderful options to choose from. Take your pick and maybe try something new. You can go for the day, an overnight or weeklong experience. The MOC is waiting to enhance your summertime outdoor fun. The staff are super helpful and genuinely aim to please. By the end of you visit you just might find yourself singing Kumbaya.
Summer camps
This includes day camps for children with all sorts of interests. There are four styles of summer camps. Campers can get creative in the art camp, join the adventure camp (hiking, campfires, bush crafts, target sports etc.), join a classic summer camp (fun and games, swimming, sports, tie-dye etc.) or there is bike camp for the cycle enthusiasts (learn more about trail and technical skills). They also offer before- and-after camp childcare to help accommodate working schedules. The MOC is an accredited member of the Ontario Camps Association.
Biking and trails
The team of experienced riders and trail builders are getting the trails ready for your enjoyment with some of the best single-track trails in all of Southern Ontario. The trails are open all seasons. During summertime bring your own mountain bikes. During the winter they offer fat biking in the snow.
General Camping and Accommodation
Maybe you are looking for a retreat or a corporate outing. Look no more. The MOC offers overnight options for accommodations with cabin rentals or traditional tent camping sites. Be sure to bring your own tent.
Outdoor Education
Teachers and home-schooling parents please consider the MOC for an exceptional educational session for your children. Who doesn’t love a field trip. The enthusiastic staff enjoy helping children learn about nature in a fun filled atmosphere.
Rental options
Just to let you know in the winter season the MOC offer rentals for fat bikes, cross county skis and snowshoes.
Annual Pass/ Affiliations
This year the MOC will be offering an incredible opportunity for an annual pass. It is called the “MOC Bike Club” pass. This annual pass will cover all forms of cycling including mountain biking, fat biking and even helping plan your road or gravel ride from MOC. It will give you access to the facilities, trails (with connector trails to other local places), safe parking, picnic tables, bike wash and river swimming after a ride. There is even a warm fireplace in the winter months.
Another awesome part of being a member of the MOC Bike Club is that the pass will include affiliations with many local businesses. They will be offering a range of perks from discounts and promos to complimentary giveaways, when you show your pass. One example of a partnering businesses is the Taphouse Craft Beer Pub in Orangeville which will be offering a 10% discount. What’s not to like. Other establishments that are affiliated include: GoodLot Brewing Company in Caledon, Cycling Elements (bakeshop in Orangeville), Mochaberry Coffee and Company (Orangeville), Propeller Coffee Company (Toronto), The Old Mill House Pub (Creemore) & Bank Cafe (Creemore) and Kamikaze Bikes (Collingwood).
