Fall Feast ON

One good taste leads to another when farmers meet chefs, and both are committed to showcasing Ontario’s culinary richness. The Durham Region’s agricultural roots run, deep so it’s no wonder that Feast ON™-accredited eateries are emerging as more restaurants purchase ingredients directly from local farms and producers.

Durham’s newest Feast ON™ member is Bistro ’67, a unique teaching-inspired restaurant located inside the Centre for Food at Durham College’s Whitby campus. Take in a unique dining experience in a creative learning environment that shows what can happen when communities, local farmers and education work together. This full service, green-certified restaurant works from the field-to-fork model, with on-site orchards and garden.

After dinner, revel in the permanent art collection at the Station Gallery, which overlooks the beautiful Whitby Harbour. Check in at the Residence Inn by Marriott and enjoy a stroll downtown to Whitby’s first Feast ON™ designated member, kb food where you can indulge in a late night snack or a delicious cocktail.
