Family Fun – Inside or Out!

When it comes to family fun, we’ve got you covered! You just need to decide if you want to spend the day inside or out.

For outdoor fun, head to Canada’s Wonderland, Canada’s Premier Amusement park, and home to the world’s fastest, tallest and longest diver roller coaster – the Yukon Striker! You will have an adrenalin-rushing, fun-filled day, whirling and twirling through the sky, on their vast selection of thrilling rollercoasters & rides – Leviathan, Behemoth, & Lumberjack, just to name a few.  Now for your junior thrill seekers, head to Kidzville and test their limits on smaller favorites, like the Ghoster Coaster or Silver Streak. KidZville and Planet Snoopy feature over 25 children’s attractions and will keep their excitement going all-day. The park is also home to Splash Works, their 20-acre premier waterpark*, where you can spend the day just lounging around on either the lazy river or by the wave pool, one of Canada’s largest, or plunging down the waterslides. Entry to Splash Works is included with park admission. And when hunger strikes, you won’t need to go very far as a variety of dining options are available right in the park!

Bring your own bike and helmet, or rent them when you arrive – either way, gear up to have a blast! Don’t know how to ride a bike, how about climbing the walls at the Hub Climbing Markham, a 20,000 square foot indoor rock climbing gym designed for climbers of every level. Now, if you need a little extra motivation to get you moving, try their Augmented Reality (AR) Wall with AR games to help climbers improve their strength, balance, ability & endurance.

Refuel with a stop at  Vaughan Mills Shopping Centre  (you’re already here if you’re at Legoland!) and choose from one of the various food court options or sit down restaurants. Top it off with a sweet treat at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory – their cheesecake caramel apple is my guilty pleasure!
