Golf Like a Pro

York is home to a plethora of golf courses, both public and private.  So, if you want to golf like a pro, you’ll find a course that’s perfectly suited to do just that!

Angus Glen Golf Club is recognized as one of Canada’s premier golf courses. It has two challenging 18-hole championship golf courses, each of which has hosted a Canadian Open event, making Angus Glen the only club to have hosted a major PGA event on both of its courses! Angus Glen was also the host golf venue for the 2015 Pan Am Games. So, book a tee time and pack your clubs, and picture yourself amongst the pros, that walked the greens before you, as you tee off. When the game is done, head to the clubhouse and grab a seat on the patio, overlooking the 18th green. Grab a bite to eat at The Silo Grill Restaurant, and enjoy your meal either on the heated patio or indoors.

Relax with a swim in the Infinity Pool, or with a signature drink at Draco, located on the main floor.  Freshen up for dinner – but you won’t need to go very far! A number of terrific restaurants are conveniently located within walking distance of the hotel – from steak at Ruth’s Chris, to French-inspired at Terre Rouge, to Italian at Costa Sorrento and authentic Thai at Lanna Cuisine, just to name a few. If you want to venture a little further, jump in the car and make your way to Main St. Unionville, for their diverse selection of restaurants.
