Explore the Town of Erin, located in south-west Headwaters. The holidays come alive in this rural village with the annual Window Wonderland that welcomes visitors for the entire season.

Shop, dine and celebrate the holidays as you stroll down Main Street. With a local toy shop, clothing stores offering the latest in fashion and accessories, traditional bakeries, a chocolatier, and cozy cafés, you can check off your Christmas list and enjoy at taste of the holidays Headwater’s style.

Alton Mill Art Centre should be on the list of anyone looking to give the art-lover in your life the perfect gift. Tucked away in the hamlet of Alton, Alton Mill Arts Centre is host to Christmas photos with the Grinch and it’s annual Holiday Open House. The historic, award-winning Mill is alive with holiday spirit and creativity, with more than 25 resident artists and guest artists selling their art and wares throughout the season.

Wrap up the day of holiday shopping by heading up to Hockley Valley. Visitors will find unique gift picks at the Rosemont General Store, including snuggly scarves and socks, gourmet pantry goods, imported bath and body products and an adorable kids section. While you’re in the area, stop in to visit the Museum of Dufferin for some local history stories to share over the holidays.
