Our blog is chock full of great ideas for fun things to see and do in York Durham and Headwaters. The locals know that something magical happens when you bring silver bells and stars of wonder into the woods!  Yes, acres of Elgin Park is transformed to the Uxbridge Fantasy of Lights  a trail of bright and brilliant holiday displays winding through the trail.  The park is open every night from 6-9:30pm from December 4th-January 2nd, just as dusk falls.

The ‘merry’ happens downtown with ‘busy sidewalks dressed in holiday style!’ when boutique shops and makers open for evening hours and bring you their festive best!  Warm up with something to sip from the   The Bridge Social . Carefully curated authors are celebrated at Blue Heron Books.

Next door, Presents, Presents, Presents has something for everyone on your ‘list’.  A few doors down, The Lemonade Stand -Creative Vintage Studio specializes handmade items, taste deliciousness from TIN Restaurant, or takeaway a box of holiday cookies from Urban Pantry. Toast the season with a local brew, visit The Second Wedge Brewing Company to pick-up some of their seasonal Spice Factory beer to take home. There are so many stops to choose from!
