Find a new protein! At Thunder Ridge Bison Co. their bison are fed pasture grasses and are raised naturally on their 100-acre farm atop the Oak Ridges Moraine. Check out their on-farm workshops. Or you can find their bison at Willowtree Farm, along with other butcher shop, bakery, café and farm events, year-round. Maple syrup season is one of the favourite times of the year for the Mckay family at Willowtree Farm when they get back outside and start harvesting from the land.
