Snickerdoodles

Recipe from Pickering Museum Village

Ingredients

  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 1 1/2 cup light sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 3/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • For Cinnamon Sugar: 2 tbsp white sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and sugar well.
  2. Add eggs and beat well.
  3. Mix dry ingredients in a different bowl.
  4. Add dry ingredients to wet mixture
  5. Bake at 350° F for 8-10 minutes
