MONO CLIFFS INN
37006 Mono Centre Rd., Mono L9W 6X5 | monocliffsinn.ca | 519 941 5109
Opened in 1853, the “Cliffs” (as it’s fondly referred to) operated as a general store for nearly 120 years. Since then, the store has been reimagined as an inn, where owners Carol and Michael craft exceptional food and atmosphere in this relaxed country setting. The downstairs pub is a favourite with the locals, complete with a toy train running above and behind the bar. Be sure to poke your head into the wine cellar, which is really more of a cave, while you’re there – this would have been the perfect spot for secret imbibing of forbidden giggle water during Temperance!
Check out of one of their tempting cocktails.
