Stop in at Magnotta Winery’s 5,000 square foot flagship location in Vaughan to sample their Vidal Icewine and discover the winery’s own rebellious history of its own. In the 1990s, the LCBO announced they did not have shelf space to stock Magnotta Winery products. Despite this massive setback, Magnotta Winery decided to sell their award-winning wines directly to the public. Ten years later, Magnotta Winery ice wines were finally featured in LCBO stores after a mediated settlement.

Take in a tour of another kind! Explore Canadian art history at the McMichael Canadian Art Collection in the quaint town of Kleinburg. McMichael’s permanent collection holds over 6,500 artworks, including pieces by Tom Thomson, the Group of Seven and their contemporaries, and First Nations, Métis, Inuit and contemporary artists who have contributed to the development of Canadian art.
