Whether you are a tourist visiting Central Counties or a local looking for some new trails to ride through, Central Counties offers something for everyone. Urban Pantry Restaurant:

Located in Durham Region in Uxbridge, the Urban Pantry Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Pull your bike up to this trendy cafe and relax on the patio while indulging in some delicious fare. The eatery is globally influenced yet the menu items are all locally sourced. Immerse yourself in the beauty of Ontario by cycling a natural path and eating local!

Alton Mill Arts Centre:

Alton Mill in Peel Region offers up its amazing Arts Centre for you to visit. A blend of 25 artist’s studios, galleries, retail shops and a cafe, the Centre is a beautiful spot to bike to and spend the day exploring. Learn about the Mill’s history and have lunch at the cafe. Check out their calendar as well for any workshops or classes you may want to participate in.

Country Perks:

Durham Region’s Country Perks is the best cafe for a break from the trail. Fresh brewed coffee along with Organic and Fair Trade teas await you, alongside fresh, in-house baked goods, and homemade chili made with local farm raised extra lean beef. This may be the best after biking pick-me up you always wanted!

October Sunrise Farmhouse B&B:

This charming Victorian house has been transformed into an inviting B&B. Judith Llewellyn and her family share their home with guests looking for a little R&R. Surrounding farmlands and pastures soothe city souls, and provide you with the perfect area to explore by foot or by bike. Home-cooked breakfast awaits you in the morning with organic and locally-sourced ingredients used as much as possible. Now this truly is vacationing for cyclists done right!

Archibald’s Winery:

Located at the foothills of the stunning Oak Ridges Moraine, Archibald’s Winery is a 4th generation family farm. Situated near the Green Belt Bike Route, the winery offers a 40-acre apple orchard, fruit winery, and 9-hole golf course. Nothing is more relaxing than a day spent cycling, playing a round of golf and tasting some locally-made wines!
