Buzzing Bees Adventure farm

Buzzing Bees Adventure Farm is a family friendly farm in Sunderland. The farm opens for the fall season and features a 10-acre corn maze, with an escape room styled in in-maze game called the Canadian Pioneer Challenge. Along with the corn maze and in-maze game, our farm includes a number of other family friendly activities like peddle karts, elastic band shooting range, toddler playground, slides, sandbox, and more. We also have fresh popped kettle corn, and our own maple syrup and honey. Lastly, we recently built a 1375 sq/ft geodesic growing dome that we provide tours of to demonstrate how we can grow food year-round without external heat!

It the last spring wit also open for a Haskap berry U-pick. Haskap (also known as Honeyberry) is a new superfruit that has been gaining popularity since the University of Saskatchewan breeding program. The taste is quite often compared to a cross between raspberry and blueberry, with a vitamin C zing. Haskap berries are high in Vitamin C and A, fiber, and potassium. Specifically they have three times the antioxidants of a blueberry, similar amount of vitamin C to an orange and almost as much potassium as a banana. They are extremely high in antioxidants such as Anthocyanins, Poly Phenols, and Bioflavanoids.
