Welcome to the Museum of Dufferin. We are located at the intersection of Highway 89 and Airport Road in beautiful Mulmur Township. We are close to the towns of Shelburne, Orangeville and Alliston, and a great stop along the way from Toronto to the many resorts and activities in the Georgian Bay and Muskoka regions.
The Museum of Dufferin is a unique destination where local history, art, and community come together. Housed in a modern building inspired by the traditional Ontario bank barn, the museum invites visitors to explore three life-sized historic buildings, engaging gallery exhibitions, and a collection of rare artifacts that tell the story of the region. The Museum of Dufferin serves as a vibrant community hub, offering workshops, special events, and hands-on programs for visitors throughout the year.
