Ingredients

Ah… the Rub:

1 tablespoon cumin

1 tablespoon paprika

½ tablespoon chili flakes

1 tablespoon granulated garlic

1 tablespoon granulated onion

1 tablespoon ancho chili powder

2 tablespoons brown sugar

2 tablespoons coarse salt

Other Ingredients:

3 pounds baby back pork ribs (Heatherlea or 4th Line Cattle Co.)

1 cup All of Nothing Home-style Beer BBQ sauce

Instructions

1. Prepare the Ribs:

Remove the membrane sheath from the back of each rack of ribs. Imagine you’re giving those ribs a little spa treatment – snip off as much of the membrane as possible.

Sprinkle the Ah… the Rub onto both sides of the ribs as desired. Marinate the ribs for at least 4 hours in the fridge, allowing the flavours of the rub to infuse into the meat.

2. Get down and dirty on the grill:

Preheat your gas grill for high heat, or arrange charcoal briquettes on one side of the barbecue.

Lower the gas heat to low and close the lid. Let those ribs cook, undisturbed like a sleeping bear, covered in foil for the first hour. This will help the ribs cook slowly and retain moisture.

After the first hour, remove the foil and continue cooking for an additional 30 minutes. This will allow the ribs to develop a delicious crust while still remaining tender and juicy inside.

3. Time to Get Saucy

Brush those ribs with the All or Nothing Home-style Beer BBQ sauce and let them sizzle for an additional 5 minutes. It’s like giving those ribs a shiny coat of messy goodness!

4. Serve and Enjoy:

Serve up those ribs as a whole rack or get creative and slice between each rib bone.

Pile ’em high on a platter and get ready for a messy feast that’ll have everyone licking their fingers clean and craving some sloppy seconds!
