Erin at Night

Start your morning off right with a coffee and sweet treat from the Tin Roof Café. This adorable coffee shop in downtown Erin will make you feel like you’ve been transported to Scandinavia with it’s cozy vibes and loft seating. Grab a seat by the little fireplace while you enjoy one of their seasonal lattes and sweet treats.

Let that caffeine keep the winter chill at bay as you wander down Main Street. You’ll find so many great shops in downtown Erin! If you’re on the hunt for some unique pieces to add to your wardrobe pop into Sweet B Studio B. Plus, you’ll want to visit Amorettos to score one of their signature toques with massive pom poms! Drop your shopping bags at the car and head off on a self-guided walking tour of Erin. The tour takes you through downtown, highlighting significant buildings and architectural styles, all while sharing a slice of Erin’s history.

Erin Winter Shopping

Head over to Elliott Tree Farms after your shopping spree. With the rush of the holiday season over, this Christmas tree farm still has magic to spare! Throughout the winter you can book one of their firepits for you and the family to enjoy. Plus, they have two cozy cabins available to book that make for a dreamy winter escape! Both cabins come with a woodstove and everything you’ll need for a romantic night away or girl’s getaway. One is a log cabin nestled in a maple tree grove while the other sits overlooking a serene pond. If you’re planning a family getaway the cabin by the pond is ideal as you can add on the bunkie, which the kids will love! After you’ve checked into your cabin, enjoy a picnic lunch at one of their firepits. You can grill up some hot dogs or veggie burgers in a jiffy over the toasty fire.

Tree Farm

Spend your afternoon with the friendly folks at Heartwood Farm and Cidery. The human and barnyard kind! At Heartwood Farm you can enjoy an awesome farm experience that includes befriending some adorable creatures like pigs, llamas, and chickens. Visitors will learn about the farm, how they work, and have the opportunity to connect with the land. Plus, to warm you up after a frolic on the farm pop into their cidery for a tasting. While there’s a cider to suit everyone’s tastebuds, a great choice on a cold winter’s day is their Eve Goes Badass. Made from their own hot peppers for some real heat!

Pig

Celebrate your winter romp around Erin with a fabulous meal at The Busholme! Originally built in the 1880s, this stunning building maintains all its historic charm both inside and out. Offering a seasonal menu and a dozen beers on tap, there’s a dish for everyone here! Along with classic pub items like burgers you’ll find a mix of interesting choices like Buddha bowls and chicken and waffles. Plus, if you’re feeling adventurous, try dining on their patio that’s heated in the winter!

Drink

With full bellies it’s time to head back to your cabin at Elliott Tree Farm. Enjoy the rest of the evening curled up around the woodstove. Make some hot chocolate and play games with loved ones while making new memories that will warm your hearts for winters to come!
