Get your muscles moving and reconnect with nature at Mansfield Outdoor Centre. This four-season facility is focused on outdoor education and recreation. Just north of Mansfield, the centre encompasses forests, fields, and water sources, as well as part of the Dufferin County Forest system.
Along with exciting summer camps, Mansfield Outdoor Centre caters to families looking for a nature driven retreat. Active families will love exploring the over 30 kilometres of trails on the property. The trails offer year-round adventures like mountain biking, cross-country skiing, and hiking. Rentals are available at the centre if you and your friends don’t have your own bikes or skis. Plus, there’s a charming café on site to grab a well-earned bite to eat after a day on the trails.

The second floor houses the museum’s Corn Flower Glass Gallery. Hopefully you packed a cooler because this farm market sells a wealth of fresh local produce and items from their own as well as other local farms.
For dinner, reserve a table at the infamous Mrs. Mitchelle’s restaurant. This restaurant offers warm and cozy country kitchen vibes with a dash of sophistication and is set within an old schoolhouse. However, this is not your grandmother’s dining! Mrs. Mitchelle’s serves upscale fare like Duck Confit and Pistachio Crusted Atlantic Salmon.
