At Black Creek Pioneer Village, visitors discover 40 historic buildings, 70 rare and heritage breed animals, 10 gardens growing flowers and plants from heirloom seeds, and exciting programs that engage people of all ages. Visiting Black Creek Pioneer Village is like walking into a movie, only better! There you can walk around an 1860’s country village and experience Ontario’s history first hand and speak with costumed interpreters & experience the past like never before. Watch the sparks fly as the Blacksmith works at the forge, visit heritage farm animals, and even discover how beer was made the old fashioned way at the Historic Brewery.

While they are currently closed to the public, you can still explore Black Creek Pioneer Village from home. Black Creek Pioneer Village in Vaughan is offering Visit the Village Virtually. Take a virtual stroll around their 19th century Village using Google StreetView.

While the app was designed to allow on-site visitors a glimpse into less accessible parts of the Village, you can also use it to investigate some of their historic buildings from the comfort of your home.
