Two Upcoming Events Welcome You to Horse Country
The beautiful rivers, green pastures and swooping valleys of Headwaters have become a go-to destination for everything equestrian in the province of Ontario.
When you journey through the hills of King, Caledon, Erin and Dufferin County you’ll find some of Canada’s top equestrian coaching and training facilities, riding schools, boarding stables, ranches, breeding farms and equestrian suppliers.
This October, there are two opportunities to experience everything equine in Headwaters.

Headwaters Horse Country 2nd Annual Evening of Celebration

October 2nd, 2014
6:00pm – Food and Networking
7:30pm – HorsePower Live Show Begins
OAS Event Centre in Mono, ON

Admission is free
An evening to celebrate all things Horse Country!
This free evening of entertainment includes HorsePower Live, entertainment at its most dazzling. The pageantry, passion and precision of horses is showcased as they perform trick riding, creative barrel racing, prancing pole-bending, galloping musical chairs and games galore!
Hosted by Ross Millar, the evening includes forging demonstrations by Professional Farrier Supply, the TO2015 Pan Am Games Town of Caledon Team and the winners of the Horse Country Art Contest will be announced.
To top it all off, fifteen food and beverage purveyors will be showcasing the culinary talents and local flavors of the Headwaters Region.

Headwaters Horse Country 7th Annual Stable Tour
October 4th & 5th, 2014
10:00am – 4:00pm

Admission is free
The region’s top equestrian facilities are opening their doors to the public!
From breeding farms and training facilities to riding schools, boarding stables and ranches, come experience the gamut of equine activity with a rare “behind the scenes” perspective. The tour has grown so much that this year’s event will be held over two days.
