We are always adding new content and updating old posts, but sometimes you might stumble upon something from our vault. Right from the very beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, our community banded together by staying apart to keep each other safe and healthy but the outpouring of concern and support of our local businesses was evident! Local customers wanted to shop locally, so the OBIA, in partnership with Green Monkey Creative, focused on bridging the physical gap between local businesses and Orangeville residents. The goal was to make it easier for local businesses to sell online and for area residents to shop local from the comfort of their homes, and the result was the creation of ShopDowntownOrangeville.ca – a digital downtown marketplace that showcases a wide variety of our local businesses. Over the last few weeks, 22 local shops have been added – and this number is continuing to grow!
